tinted

I imagine many of us love vintage photographs and the stories they tell. My absolute favorites are the hand tinted ones, which can add an off kilter touch to the saccharine sweet imagery.  Sometimes the colors tell a different story than the photograph. The flushed cheeks, brightly colored details of garments and accessories add to the layers – the captured subject, the photographers pov, and the hand painted touches all attempt to tell the story.
