Isabel Marant’s studio

I wanted to make double triple sure that none of you missed these shots of Isabel’s studio. (In my mind we’re on a first name basis btw). The majority of chic ladies I know are major fans of her work, as she manages to bring the best for all of us – relaxed, intelligent design that combines a louche sexiness and finely tuned artistic touch. Plain and simple – her pieces translate beautifully.

I can’t help but post a snap of my own favorite Isabel pieces. Let me tell you – red heels make friends. I can’t take a few steps without being stopped and told a story about someone’s own experience with red heels – how they have a favorite pair, can’t find a pair, were the cause of a love affair, etc. Someone should start a blog about that. Seriously. And I still love this piece that I picked up on sale…
