So you may have heard about  Alexander McQueen: Savage Beauty, the exhibition to be held at the Metropolitan Museum’s Costume Institute; which will be launched by this year’s Met Ball on May 2. Schedule to run at the Met from May to July 2011, the show will feature more than 100 pieces of work from his 19 year career. The ball and the exhibition will no doubt be an extraordinary affair – with Stella McCartney and current McQueen designer Sarah Burton as co-chairs, it should be an intimate and authentic perspective of his vision.
